Description
The Ziton ZPR868-H Protocol 868MHz Radio Loop Module (Hub) is a Ziton protocol, radio hub for interfacing up to 4 loops of wireless 868 MHz fire alarm devices into a ZP fire alarm system. It enables these wireless devices to be controlled directly from the ZP panel, and provides a seamless interface between the panel and the wireless devices.
Performance And Range
With support for smart cluster technology, the ZPR868-H provides extended wireless coverage over zone type, wireless systems. Diversity antennae allows for extended communication range in all directions, whilst multipath communication techniques minimizes the risk of interference from external sources.
System Design
With up to 4 hardware loops connected directly from the Ziton fire alarm CIE to the Ziton ZPR868-H Protocol 868MHz Radio Loop Module (Hub), every devices on each of the CIE loops may be connected wirelessly. Cluster communicators (ZPR868-C or ZPR868-CM) communicate on one side wirelessly to the hub, and on the other side to up to 31 wireless devices, either detectors, notification and/or IO units and even other clusters. When redundancy is required, multipath communication enables clusters to talk to other clusters to find a reliable communication path back to the hub should its own dual communication frequencies be blocked. Clusters can also communicate with other clusters to extend the wireless communication distance for large installations.
Full Flexibility
Wireless devices are featured in many fire detection and alarm systems, and are specified where the installation of hard wiring would be difficult or impossible to complete, decorative finishes to the interior of the protected building preclude wiring runs or where the time scales to complete installation are minimal.
