Description
The DC999 Apollo Discovery CO Detector is an addressable, high performance carbon monoxide fire detector. It is particularly suitable for supplementing smoke detection when there is expected to be:
- a deep seated smoldering fire risk
- a risk of a fire starting in an enclosed space
- a likelihood of stratification
The DC999 Apollo Discovery CO Detector contains a long-life electro-chemical CO sensor that is tolerant to low levels of common vapors and household products. The sensing technology is enhanced by a rate-of-rise response as fast rises in CO levels are often associated with hot fires. Detector algorithms remove nuisance alarms resulting from short-term, high CO levels caused by pipe smoke or gas flame ignition sources.
