It includes enhanced security features to prevent unauthorized access. Signed firmware and secure boot guarantees that the firmware hasn’t been altered and ensures only authorized firmware is installed. Furthermore, if needed secure boot guarantees that the camera is completely clean from possible malware after a factory default.
Axis Q3527-LVE 5MP Outdoor IR Varifocal Vandal Resistant Fixed Camera includes a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) that is FIPS 140-2 level 2 certified. It ensures secure storage of all cryptographic keys and certificates so that they remain safe even in the event of a security breach.
AXIS Q3527-LVE is based on AXIS Q3517-LVE which ensures the best video quality possible. It offers 5-megapixel resolution at full frame rate (up to 30 fps) with Forensic WDR. That means it delivers excellent detail – even of moving objects and people – as well as of scenes with both extremely bright and extremely dark areas. Thanks to Lightfinder, you also get sharp, color images in low light. OptimizedIR ensures excellent low-noise video even in complete darkness. Furthermore, Zipstream preserves important details in full image quality, while reducing storage and bandwidth by 50% or more.
AXIS Q3527-LVE is designed to be reliable under rough conditions and in harsh climates. It can withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -50°C to 60°C (-58°F to 140°F). It comes with a weathershield that keeps the rain off. Its IP66-, IP67-, and NEMA 4X-rated casing protects it against water, corrosion and dust. Electronic image stabilization keeps the picture steady when the camera is exposed to vibrations. The casing is also vandal resistant with IK10+ rating. And what’s more, even if there is a power outage, redundant DC power and Power over Ethernet helps ensure a reliable power supply to safeguard all your mission critical surveillance.
