The AXIS I8116-E Network Video Intercom is a small yet powerful outdoor-ready device designed for flexible, cost-efficient installation. Measuring just 48 mm (1.89 in.) wide, it fits neatly on walls, doorframes, and mullions. A flush mounting accessory enables recessed installation, providing a clean and discreet appearance.

This intercom combines video, audio, and access control in a single unit. It supports door security with PoE, allowing you to control locks while adding video surveillance—all using just one cable. The I/O ports can also switch to a reader port for tighter integration with access control systems.

Built on Axis cybersecurity features, the I8116-E safeguards your system from unauthorized access. Axis Edge Vault protects the device ID and simplifies authorization of Axis products across your network. The intercom supports advanced analytics powered by deep learning, enabling enhanced security monitoring and actionable insights.

The device integrates seamlessly with leading VMS systems and supports Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) for IP telephony. Open programming interfaces such as VAPIX and ONVIF allow software integration, giving developers flexibility to customize functionality.
