High-Capacity Enterprise Switching

The NS4703-24P-4X is a high-performance enterprise backbone switch designed for demanding PoE network environments. It provides a mix of ultra PoE, PoE+, and high-speed 10G uplinks for flexible and scalable deployments.

Mixed PoE Power Architecture

The switch includes 8 x Gigabit Ultra PoE ports supporting up to 95W (802.3bt) and 16 x Gigabit PoE+ ports supporting up to 32W (802.3at). With a total PoE power budget of up to 450W, it is ideal for powering high-demand devices such as PTZ cameras, access control systems, and wireless access points.

High-Speed 10G Uplink Connectivity

Four SFP/SFP+ ports support 1G/10G fibre uplinks for backbone integration. These ports are compatible with S2x, S3x, and S4x SFP modules, allowing flexible long-distance and high-speed network expansion.

Intelligent PoE Management

The switch includes PD Alive Check functionality that continuously monitors connected devices. If a device becomes unresponsive, the switch automatically resets the PoE port to restore operation. PoE scheduling also allows power control based on time intervals for energy savings.

Extended Reach Capability

In Extend Mode, PoE and data transmission can be supported up to 250 metres at 10Mbps. This allows deployment in large buildings, campuses, and outdoor surveillance environments beyond standard Ethernet limits.

Advanced Security and Control

The NS4703-24P-4X supports Layer 2–Layer 4 ACL security policies, MAC-based authentication, VLAN segmentation, and port security features. These tools help ensure controlled access and secure network operation.
