Description

The Ziton ZR455V-3RR Wireless Sounder is a RED, addressable, sounder/beacon with a RED lens, operating on 868 MHz. It is remotely controlled and supervised by an addressable, wireless system controller, allowing for both wireless and hardwired devices to be seamlessly located on the same fire system. Ziton ZR455V-3RR Wireless Sounder features selectable tones for notification of alert, evacuate, security alert and class change, with outputs up to 99 dBA, as well as visual notification via an LED beacon located on the front of the unit.

System Design

ZR455V-3 sounder/beacons provide notification where the installation of hard wired sounders is not an option. They form part of an extensive range of wireless fire alarm devices that includes audio-visual notification, smoke/heat detectors, manual call points and input/output devices.

Suitable for applications specifying BS5839:1, ZR455V-3 sounder/beacons may be addressed as a standalone units, or as part of a group where several units in the same location are synchronized to operate simultaneously. Designed for surface mounting in indoor applications, they have no external aerials and are supplied complete with matching back box. The ZR455V-3 series is rated at IP54 and constructed of ABS plastic.

Highest Signal Integrity

To ensure the highest signal integrity, ZR455V-3 sounder/beacons transmit and receive statuses and instructions to and from the panel in a multi-path, harmonized European 868 MHz band. When installed as part of a ZP addressable fire system where up to 127 device addresses are available per loop, up to 62 ZR455V-3 devices may be used spread across two radio loop controllers. Every wireless device controlled through the ZPR868 loop interface is assigned its own address with which the main control panel communicates, providing the same system facilities as directly wired devices.

Power Supply

Power for the ZR455V-3 sounder/beacons is derived from two independent and supervised battery sources using standard alkaline batteries, allowing up to 5 years of operational life.
