Description

The ViRDI FMD10 is a stand alone access control fingerprint terminal. Standard features include: Virdi’s patented biometric scanner with live + fake finger detection & auto scan, Mifare card reader, Wiegand interface (OUT only), RS485 Secure Transmission Protocol (STP) interface to BLC-015 and MCP-040 , Bluetooth Interface to Android Mobile Device (Android 4.0 and upward) running UNIS-B application, can handle 1 000 users, 1 000 templates, stores 10 000 transactions. The unit inserts in a standard electrical box (2 x 4) and comes with a Clipsal face plate. Ideal for stand-alone applications and for budget installations using the MCP-040 4-door controller.

Can be used in Standalone Mode or as an RS485 Reader on the MCP040 Controller.
