Description

The TM010 is a multi-stimulus detector tester for smoke and heat detectors, all in one unit. The unit offers a choice of only heat, only smoke or smoke and heat simultaneously, which is required for multi-sensor type detectors. The unit is supplied with two rechargeable batteries and charger.

Environmentally Friendly

Smoke and heat stimuli are created in a single test unit, and delivered individually or simultaneously – in whatever combination an effective and efficient test requires. TM010 does this without using pressurized cans of gas or hazardous media and stimuli are generated only as required through energizing replaceable benign capsules. These capsules do not require any special hazardous shipping, due to it’s benign nature.

Faster Test Cycle

The TM010 was designed with focus on keeping test time to a minimum. This is achieved with the combination of smoke and heat testing in one unit. This avoids the need to have two separate units, one for smoke and one for heat, and switching between them. The focus is further extended with the fact that the replaceable capsules, contain multiple times the amount of “smoke” when compared with an aerosol can.

The TM010 also has a cleaning phase, during which time clear air is blown through the camber of the detector. This ensures that residual smoke which is left in the chamber after the test, is removed and does not cause the detector to incorrectly report a fire again. All of these features added together, ensure a shorter test time per detector, which in turn result in cost saving.
