Description

The TH012 is a cordless heat detector tester. This state-of-the-art heat detector utilizes cross-flow technology for fast, efficient heat detector testing. It is supplied with 2 battery batons that fit inside the test poles and a charger that may be used in either a mains socket or in-car.

Technology

Using CAT – Cross Air Technology – air is heated and blown across the cup, which means the heat source is directed at the detector sensor, not the plastic components or casing. For battery conversion, the tool does not begin to operate until the detector breaks the infrared beam in the cup.
