Teletek SPIKA-RM7 Emergency Microphone Station
Overview
The SPIKA-RM7 is an emergency microphone station designed for use within Voice Evacuation (EVAC) systems in commercial, institutional, scientific, and historical buildings. It provides reliable live and pre-recorded voice message control, enabling clear and targeted communication during emergency or evacuation situations.
Designed as a key system peripheral, the SPIKA-RM7 enhances the flexibility and responsiveness of evacuation systems by allowing operators to manage zone-based messaging quickly and efficiently.
Communication & Control
The unit features 7 fully programmable buttons, which can be configured to trigger specific pre-recorded announcements or initiate live voice messages. These functions allow precise control over different evacuation zones, ensuring that instructions are delivered accurately depending on the nature of the emergency.
Each SPIKA system supports up to three SPIKA-RM7 microphone stations connected via a dedicated service BUS, providing scalable control options for larger installations or multi-point access requirements.
Design & User Interface
The SPIKA-RM7 is housed in a durable metal enclosure, ensuring long-term reliability in demanding environments. A clear front panel layout includes line status and system status LED indicators. Allowing operators to immediately verify system readiness and communication status.
To support flexible installation and configuration, the unit includes dip-switch addressing for simple device identification within the system network. Microphone sensitivity is also adjustable, ensuring optimal audio clarity in different acoustic environments.
Power & Connectivity
The microphone station is powered directly from the control panel or an external 24V DC supply, reducing installation complexity and ensuring stable operation. Its wired communication technology ensures consistent, interference-free performance, which is essential for life safety applications.
