Description
Teletek SPIKA-6 Voice Evacuation & Public Address Panel
Overview
The SPIKA-6 is a compact Voice Evacuation and Public Announcement (PA/VA) panel designed for small to medium-sized buildings requiring reliable emergency communication and zoned audio distribution. It provides 6 independently controlled speaker zones with a total system power output of 500W, allowing flexible allocation of audio across multiple areas.
Designed for life safety applications, the SPIKA-6 supports both emergency evacuation messaging and general public address functions within a single integrated platform.
Audio Power & Zone Control
The system delivers 500W of total audio power, which can be distributed across 6 speaker zones. It features an A/B backbone zone structure for improved system resilience and flexibility in routing audio signals.
A built-in 500W main amplifier and a 500W backup amplifier ensure continuous operation, allowing simultaneous use of two sound sources and providing redundancy in critical environments where system uptime is essential.
System Integration & Networking
The SPIKA-6 is designed for seamless integration with fire detection systems and third-party panels. It includes a serial interface compatible with iRIS Fire Systems and Simpo fire alarm panels, as well as configurable inputs and outputs for connection to most fire alarm systems on the market.
Up to six SPIKA-6 panels can be networked together, expanding capacity to a total of 36 zones and up to 3000W of combined power, making it suitable for larger or multi-building installations.
User Interface & Media Management
The panel includes a 4.3-inch touch screen display for intuitive control and system configuration. A built-in handheld microphone allows live emergency announcements directly from the unit.
For audio playback and message management, the SPIKA-6 supports multiple media inputs, including two USB ports for MP3 playback, two SD card slots for voice message storage, and two RCA analog inputs for external audio sources. Multilingual support ensures usability across diverse operational environments.
Power & Backup
To ensure uninterrupted operation during power failure, the SPIKA-6 supports a backup battery configuration using 2 × 12V 42Ah batteries. This ensures continued functionality of emergency communication systems in compliance with life safety requirements.
Compliance & Certification
The SPIKA-6 is certified to EN 54-4 and EN 54-16 standards, confirming its suitability for use in certified fire detection, voice alarm, and emergency communication systems.
