Description

Kentec K555 Syncro High Integrity Network System

Advanced Fire System Networking

The Kentec K555 Syncro High Integrity Network enhances the flexibility and scalability of Syncro fire alarm and extinguishing systems by allowing multiple control panels and repeaters to communicate across a secure network.

Scalable System Architecture

The network supports up to 64 nodes, allowing large fire detection and extinguishing systems to be managed across multiple buildings or zones. Both control panels and repeaters can be connected on the same network for system-wide monitoring and control.

High Integrity Communication

The system uses a high-integrity communication protocol designed to maintain reliable operation during fault conditions. The network is fully protected against open and short circuit faults, ensuring continued communication between operational sections of the system.

Simple Network Connection

A simple two-wire loop connection is used between panels, reducing installation complexity while providing secure data transmission throughout the network.

Flexible Cause and Effect Programming

Using the Loop Explorer configuration software, network-wide cause and effect logic can be programmed to respond to alarms, faults, disablements, and other events. Panels can also be individually configured to react to network events only when required.

Fault Tolerant Operation

If a fault occurs on the network, the system automatically isolates the affected section while the remaining network continues to operate independently. This ensures no single fault causes total system failure.

Multi-Protocol Compatibility

Apollo and Hochiki Syncro panels can operate together on the same network, providing greater flexibility for mixed-device installations.
