The IO956I 950 Series Sounder Circuit Controller is an addressable sounder controller. It is designed to control sounders powered by an external DC supply. Sounders are switched continuously or pulsed, and may be synchronized.

Interfaces For Intelligent Systems

The IO956I 950 Series Sounder Circuit Controller is designed to suit individual applications. This standard interface is designed to be surface mounted to walls and consist of three parts: a back box with knockouts for cable entry, a PCB assembly and a protective front cover.

Interface With Isolator

The IO956I is fitted with a bi-directional short-circuit isolator so that they are unaffected by a single short-circuit on either loop input or output.

Sounder Control

The IO956 is normally used to control a zone of sounders powered by an external DC supply. The sounders will be switched to sound continuously or be pulsed, 1s on, 1s off. An opto-coupled input is provided to monitor the state of the external power supply.
