Description
The II950I 950 Series Mini Switch Monitor is a 950 series addressable mini switch monitor. It can be fitted onto a 35 mm DIN-Rail with a twist-click motion or mounted in an enclosure such as a manual call point. The II950I 950 Series Mini Switch Monitor is designed to monitor the state of one or more single pole, volt free contacts connected to a single pair of cables and to report this status back to the control panel.
Interrupt Facility
With this feature enabled, the II950I performs the same tasks as in standard mode, but simulates the same response functionality as an addressable manual call point. In this mode the II950I may be used to monitor equipment where a fast response is required. An alarm will be reported to the control panel in less than 3 seconds.
Supervision
The II950I allows for full supervision of the monitored input i.e. both open and short circuit fault detection are enabled. Any problems with this input cabling will be indicated by and LED on the unit, as well as reported back to the control equipment. The II950I is able to monitor for pre-alarm as well as alarm states.
Ease Of Maintenance
The II950I includes 3 functional indicators:
- a green LED for normal operation
- a yellow LED for isolation (ON) or fault (pulse)
- a red LED for alarm
These status LEDs allow a maintenance engineer to evaluate the status of the unit without having to return to the control panel.
