The Carrier Fire & Security IFS NS3050-8T Gigabit Ethernet Switches designed to deliver nonblocking, triple-speed performance (10/100/1000Mbps) in demanding, heavy industrial environments. A slim metal case makes the most of limited space. The NS3050-8T EEE Green Eco-Power technology allows the switch to optimize power based on port connections, saving power when ports are not in use.
A 16Gbps internal switching fabric, combined with 9K jumbo packet support, provides a secure platform that can handle a large volume of traffic. Auto-negotiation between ports allows optimal speed detection through RJ-45 Category 6, 5 or 5e cables. An auto-MDI/MDI-X function allows connection to other hubs or switches, without the need for special straight or crossover cables.
With IP-30 aluminum industrial case protection, the IFS NS3050-8T provides protection against electromagnetic interference and heavy electrical surges usually found on plant floors or in curbside traffic control cabinets. The Series also provides a wide range of power supply options suitable for multiple industries and for worldwide operation. Its operating temperature range from -40 to +75 degrees Celsius allows the managed industrial switch to be placed in almost any difficult environment.
