Description
The GST NRM9105 is an inferred beam attenuator. It prevents the overloading of the infrared receiver due to high signal strengths when short range detection is needed.
Operation
When the actual distance installation distance between the beam detector and the reflector mirror is less than 10 meters, the nonreflective mask can simply be pasted onto the reflector. At short distances the reflector needs to be attenuated because the infrared light reflected by the reflector can saturate the receiver and prevent proper operation.
