The DP-9907 may be used with all GST conventional panels as well as with the GST addressable zone interface (I-9319).

Contrary to the use of a common resistive end-of-line device together with a standard conventional detector base for supervision of a conventional detector zone, using an active end-of-line device together with a diode detector base makes it possible to ensure zone continuity when a detector is removed from its base, whilst still providing a zone fault condition at the CIE (fire alarm panel) at the same time. With this configuration the downstream devices from the missing detector remains fully operational, maintaining the fire zone safety.
