Description
The Fusion FCX-191-000 is a wireless detector base with built in sounder (FAD) for use with point type, Fusion wireless detectors. It is ideal for applications where cable interface is difficult to manage or impossible to achieve. The Fusion FCX-191-000 connects wirelessly to the Fusion interface unit, which in turn transmits the wireless detector signal to the fire panel hardware loop.
Operating Principle
Wireless devices are often installed in buildings where wiring presents a challenge because the fabric of the building or its design is negatively affected by the use of cables. It could also be difficult to introduce cable runs into heritage buildings. It is for these architecturally sensitive buildings that the Fusion series was developed.
Every Fusion device is assigned an address from is base. This address is converted by the Fusion wireless loop interface to a device address similar to a wired device connected directly to the loop wiring.
