Description

The Fusion FCX-178-001 is a wireless remote indicator for use on the Fusion 868 MHz wireless fire alarm system.

Installation

The siting of field devices in confined or concealed spaces often results in the alarm indicator on the device moulding becoming obscured or hidden. In order to show the state of an alarm clearly when installed in areas such as ceiling or floor voids, the Fusion FCX-178-001 remote LED indicator can be programmed to indicate any alarm in the system and installed in any prominent position.

Product Configuration

The FCX-178-001 has a high intensity red LED indicator positioned centrally on its white, round plastic moulding. The unit is designed to fit onto its wireless surface mounting base which also houses the batteries and the receiver/transmitter for the wireless interface. An easy to mount, first fix base is included where the orientation for wall mounting is clearly indicated, allowing the unit to always be installed in the correct orientation when wall mounted.
