Description

The Fusion FC-171-002 is a RED, wireless base for use with Fusion notification devices. The Fusion FC-171-002 is suitable for indoor use. The base is quick and easy to install, offering individual addressing at the CIE.

Operating Principle

Wireless devices are often installed in buildings where wiring presents a challenge because the fabric of the building or its design is negatively affected by the use of cables. It could also be difficult to introduce cable runs into heritage buildings. It is for these architecturally sensitive buildings that the Fusion series was developed.

Every Fusion device is assigned an address from is base. This address is converted by the Fusion wireless loop interface to a device address similar to a wired device connected directly to the loop wiring.
