Description

Cathexis ESP-3102 IP to RS-232 device enables communication across an Ethernet network with remote RS-232 serial devices. In applications where an Ethernet network already exists and the RS-232 device is not within close range for a standard serial connection, this is a significant cost-saver as it does away with the requirement of a second server/controller. Through the CathexisVision software GUI, configuration of the device IP and RS-232 baud rate is simplified for direct communication with the RS-232 device.
