Discreet Temperature Monitoring

The AXIS F2180-TE is a compact thermal sensor designed for accurate temperature monitoring in small and demanding installations. It detects temperature changes remotely and helps identify potential issues before equipment failure occurs.

Remote Temperature Detection

The sensor measures temperatures from -10°C to 450°C. It can trigger alerts when temperatures exceed set limits or change rapidly. Temperature deviation detection identifies differences across monitored areas for improved operational awareness.

Flexible Detection Areas

The AXIS F2180-TE supports configurable polygonal detection areas. Up to four measurement zones can be created per sensor unit. Spot temperature readings provide detailed temperature information at specific points, while metadata provides temperature statistics for analysis.

Compact Installation Design

The small sensor form factor allows discreet installation in areas where space is limited. It is suitable for applications such as data centres, battery storage areas, charging stations, production environments, and vehicles.

Based on AXIS modular camera concept, it can be placed up to 30m away from the main unit, and only the small sensor is externally visible. Designed for use with AXIS F91 MkII Main Units. When used with AXIS F9114-R MkII, up to four sensor units can be used simultaneously, both thermal and visual. There’s also a variety of accessories available for wall and recessed mounting. The sensor units are available in 95° or 57° horizontal field of view.
