Description

The AXIS A1001 is a Network Door Controller which comes with embedded Axis Entry Manager software. It is based on an open platform and can also be used with third party software. This means you can mix and match best-of-breed software and hardware, and easily integrate AXIS A1001 with your other systems. It can be used with the Axis A4010-E or Axis A4011-E card readers.

It always comes with AXIS Entry Manager software pre-installed. AXIS Entry Manager software has all the functionality you need to manage your smaller access control system. It controls who is allowed to enter or exit through which doors, at which times, and with the identification type of your choice – such as pin code, card, mobile phone, license plate, fingerprint, and more.

It is powered by PoE and can power locks, readers and auxiliary equipment. This makes installation and maintenance quick and efficient by limiting the number of cables needed.

The controller is installed by each door and data is automatically synchronized between the controllers in the system. The controller supports most Wiegand and RS 485 OSDP readers. The unit comes with a built-in software for basic access management for up to 33 controllers as well as an open API to meet the requirements for larger and more advanced installations. The plenum rated controller is designed for wall or ceiling mount indoors and supports Power over Ethernet IEEE 802.3af Class 3. It is fitted with 14 configurable input/outputs and 5 power outputs for door accessories including fault/tamper detection and support for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).
