Description

The Aritech DP2061N 2000 series Addressable optical detector is a 2000 series protocol, addressable optical detector. It is equipped with a field-exchangeable optical block and is fully CPD certified. This optical detector combines a low profile design with dual alarm LEDs for 360° alarm visibility, and features a remote indicator output as standard.

User Friendly

Every detector is equipped with an internal self-test feature. This test may be activated from the fire panel and allows the detector to perform a self-test for which the result is reported to the panel.

All detectors are individually identified by setting an address through 2 rotary switches. The address is straight numerical and does not require binary or hexadecimal conversions and therefore significantly reduces the risk of incorrect addressing.

Maintenance Friendly

The Aritech DP2061N features a disposable optical chamber. This allows the detector to be easily serviced without the need for specialized equipment in the field and without operating through an exchange pool of any kind. A self-test feature as well as drift compensation and contamination warning is provided when used with compatible Aritech fire panels.

All 2000 series detectors are compatible with a standard base, which makes them easily interchangeable.

An enhanced protocol ensures the overall integrity and error-free operation of the system, without compromising speed. The 2000 series protocol provides features such as CRC error checking and multiple bus cycle codes to enable advanced features of the panel to detector communication.
