Description
The stylish Aritech AI672 optical alarm indicators are designed for use with most types of addressable and conventional alarm detectors. The AI670 series is used in a ‘conventional’ mode and simply require DC power for operation.
Versions
These alarm indicators are available in two versions, each of which have the same modern housing design suitable for indoor environments.
The Aritech AI672 is an optical alarm indicator and has two, clearly visible, 10mm red LEDs to communicate alarms. The AI673 is the optical and acoustic version, providing both visible and audible signals that are required in some applications.
Installation
The indicators may be mounted onto most types of mounting boxes using their universal mounting plate.
Cable insertion is made through the back of the indicator or via the knockouts at the sides of the polycarbonate housing. The wiring terminals have entrance diodes that allow connection of up to four detectors to the indicator if required. Alternatively, it is possible to create an alarm sequence with a series of indicators linked to one detector.
Two switches allow the installer to select the most suitable LED operation – flashing or continuously on. The unique design of the units allows a very low power consumption averaging at only 4 mA nominal. The alarm indicators are protected against accidental polarity reversal.
