Description

The AI952N Addressable Optical Remote Indicator is an addressable remote indicator using 950 series protocol. It is used for the indication of an alarm from one or more fire devices for which the LEDs on the devices may be obscured or not visible in plain sight. The AI952N Addressable Optical Remote Indicator is fully programmable when using the Aritech’s 1200/2000 series‘ powerful Boolean logic functionality.

Addressable and Loop Powered

When the AI952N is connected to an addressable fire panel supporting 950 series protocol, the device receives an address and becomes fully programmable from the fire panel. It is addressed by means of address switches similar to the addressing on other 950 series devices.

Installation

The AI952N is housed in a plastic enclosure suitable for surface mount assembly on commercial switch boxes. Two 10 mm LEDs are installed on either side to ensure clear visibility in all directions.
